Who covers on-the-job injuries when deployed or during training?
Work-related Injuries and illness are insured as Workmen's Compensation claims for team employees (as federal employees) during authorized deployments and travel (disaster, exercises or other approved NDMS salaried work). Such coverage is not available when a team member attends team meetings and non-federal training.
